Good to know

This home is centrally located and close to HEB grocery, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The neighborhood is quiet and well kept. Tree lined with oaks and mostly homeowners. No party's or events allowed. Plenty of outdoor shared space with a garage and covered patio, enclosed backyard and raised deck under oak trees for relaxing. Gated driveway. No overnight guests, please.

Other Details to Note

There are five total rooms available in this property. The front door access code is 4613. This door does NOT self-lock. Therefore it must be locked manually when entering or exiting the home. Adults only please. Room rentals are available to both male and female guests. So please be cognizant of this when booking. No overnight visitors unless pre-approved by management. Upkeep of the common areas (kitchen, living room, dining room, and the shared bathrooms are shared responsibilities amongst all guests. Please be respectful of each other to help keep the home clean and comfortable. Cleaning supplies, mop, bucket, brooms, etc. are available in the garage. A rechargeable mini vacuum is available next to the desk in the main living room. Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Driveway parking is reserved for the back bedroom which is included in that room's rent. All other parking is on the street. Trash pickup for the entire house is weekly, on Wednesday's. You assistance to help move the trash cans to the curb on Tuesday evenings is appreciated. Personal consumable supplies and toiletries are each guests responsibility and not provided by the house. Extra trash bags for kitchen and bathrooms sometimes will be provided. Smart TV's are provided in each bedroom with wi-fi service to streaming services that you can log into with your account. No pets.

Schanen Estates / South Side Corpus Christi — a mature, family-oriented residential neighborhood. The area feels suburban and well-established with nearby pocket parks, neighborhood schools, and convenient access to South Padre Island Drive (SH 358) and Everhart Road for shopping and dining. It’s quiet at street level but only a short drive to larger retail centers, medical facilities, and entertainment on the south side and downtown.

Guest Access

Guest access to common areas of the house include the kitchen, breakfast/dining area, living room, hallway (shared) bathroom, double doors room shared bathroom, garage and all outdoor spaces. The Bowflex workout unit in the garage is also available to everyone. The driveway is reserved for the back apartment when rented, otherwise, parking there is first come. Front outdoor areas are also available including the smoking area in the red rock area just inside the brick wall.

Most trips are easiest by car (high car-ownership, good local road network). Primary nearby roads: South Padre Island Drive (SH 358), Everhart Road, and S. Alameda/Staples-area corridors — these make most of Corpus Christi reachable within 10–25 minutes depending on destination. Public transit: Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) operates fixed-route buses and FLEX on-demand service across the city; several CCRTA routes run along major corridors (South Padre Island Drive/Everhart) with nearby stops within a short walk or short ride. Rideshare and local taxi services operate across the city. Cycling and walking are possible for short local trips but sidewalks and bike lanes are intermittent.
